La Grange du Maquis Bir’hacheim (resistance barn) is named after the resistance movement that operated from the estate during the Second World War. In fact, the barn was used for village gatherings and dancing during the war. This very large barn conversion, just completed, offers 275 sq mtres of living space. The ground floor comprises a large living and games area (including pool table) separate dining room, fully equipped kitchen, downstairs toilet and utility room. Upstairs there are four double (twin) bedrooms, all with en-suite
shower rooms. The property is fully furnished to a high standard and can comfortably accommodate 8 people and is therefore ideal for families or larger groups.
The barn is the main accommodation for fishing parties but can be booked by families or groups wanting to stay in a barn full of character, but with all modern amenities on hand. A baby cot/play pen is available as is a changing unit. During the summer months guest can use the swimming pool and stroll round the extensive grounds and surrounding countryside.
