B&B at Puyravaud means a relaxed atmosphere, with a lovely lounge and separate dining area boasting original fireplaces dating back to the early 19th Century. Downstairs space is boosted by a 60 sq mtre conservatory overlooking the largest of the two lakes. Breakfast is served in the conservatory ensuring every day gets off to the right start.
Each of the three bedrooms in the main house are very large (up to 45 sq mtrs!), and have their own en-suite shower rooms. Two bedrooms have the added luxury of a four poster bed! A baby cot/play pen is available along with a changing unit.
Peter and Marion will be happy to cook you a three course meal in the evenings with wine included, using home grown and local produce wherever possible. 
Guests can take a stroll round the 25 acres, watch the fisherman trying to catch some very large carp, use the 10mx5m swimming pool during the summer months or simply relax watching the abundant wildlife that lives on and around Puyravaud. Fishing may be available on the smaller of the two lakes by request (day tickets available) where guests can enjoy some great sport with a variety of coarse fish stocked, including wild carp to 15lb. There are great walks beyond the property and the
Puyravaud is a great place from which to explore the Charente and is 15 minutes drive from the ancient town of La Rochefoucauld, 30 minutes from Angouleme and 50 minutes from both Limoges and Cognac. Day trips to the coast are easily planned as is a trip to the wine region of Bordeaux 100 miles to the South.
